Growing up poor in the big city he never had the priviledges the other bands had. When other rock bands or dance groups or even salsa combos were out partying all night long, poor everplastic was forced to clean out the furnace and hem the dresses so his sisters could go to the ball. Without a job, everplastic knew he would have to sell blood. One groggy evening later, full of free cookies and orange juice, he decided to rob a small jewelery store. He didn''t mean it. He was insane from the heat. crazy from loss of blood, maybe even lost in a little existential angst. Is this any reason to ruin someone's whole life? Everplastic plays a sleazy, mean, psychodisco skeletal sort of porno funk, heavy on the beats and bass. The first E.P, Aquagirl, includes Other ex-members of Die Warzau, The Sugarcubes, Sister Machine Gun, The Adrian Belew Group and some other sick wackos who happened to be in the studio doing god only knows what to the furniture. These songs are more stories set to music than anything else. This is really music for bugs and since they''ll be the only ones around after the nuclear war, we say, allright then. Big bugs. Bugs with attitude. Bugs who take no crap from anyone. Included are "Plastic Man", the first song ever about women who pick up men while wearing strap on-dildos, and "Radio On", a deep, ripping grooveprayer to Elvis.
